Ok, guys, we need to get some action going on this tribe!
So here's a question for all you 'Claws:
Do you prefer book colors or film colors?
I prefer the book colors; silver is already taken by Slytherin. if WB needed to change our lovely bronze, why didn't they just go to copper, which is closer?

Re: house color question
Tue, September 27, 2005 - 9:52 AMBecause, while in color theory, blue & orange are complimentary colors, bronze & copper in reality clash horribly. Not a problem when you're writing a book, big problem while designing costumes!
I've never said anything to you before, because you always say, "I hate that they changed the colors", you've never asked, "Why would they do such a thing?" Autism spectrum, lol. -

Re: house color question
Tue, September 27, 2005 - 12:36 PMwell, depending on what they are calling "bronze", and what shade of blue, I still think it would be worked out. some "bronze"-named things are more of a soft antiqued gold color, which DOES go with the right shade of blue.
i spend too much time in music stores' cymbal sections. -
