Gettin psyched about the new movie yet? I sure am...
Kinda off topic I've heard there may be a spin-off from Angel, and I'm wondering about that, too. I thought the very end of the last episode was rather disappointing. But anyway...

Yup! Got tix for an Imax screen. Previews make it look dark and creepy. Gay Oldman was in inspired choice for Sirius Black.
Australia's Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC) have slapped a M15+ rating onto the latest Harry Potter movie stating that it is too mature for children to see.

Thu, June 17, 2004 - 11:07 PMWow, I wasn't even aware Oldman was involved... that psychs me WAY up. I'm a big fan of his. I still haven't caught the new film. My last first-run screening was for Chronicles of Riddick, actually, which I loved.
I actually just went to a Harry Potter event at our local library with my four year old. They had a voice-activated Sorting Hat and everything. They devised a non-flying version of Quidditch, taught a brief Potions class, and showed the kids how to make slime (supposedly from one of the creatures in the series, I forget which)... and there was Butter Beer to drink (dunno what that has to do with anything... fudge and jelly beans. All in all, very very cool. The sorting hat looked fabulous. My kid was starstruck. We didn't win any prizes, but we had a great time.
